The tie-breaking rule for this round was February 11, 2023, at 15:26:56 UTC. As of February 11, 2024, there were 211,273 profiles registered in the Express Entry pool. This year, Canada issued 11,770 ITAs through Express Entry. From February 5 to February 11, Canada invited 4,857 young foreigners to apply for an IEC open work permit. As of February 11, 31,392 candidates have registered in the pool and are awaiting the invitation. Alberta held three new draws under the AAIP on On February 12, 2024, in the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) inventory. According to the new update, there were around 5,093 Alberta Opportunity Stream applications, 1,477 Rural Renewal Stream applications, and 766 Alberta Express Entry Stream applications.  In addition, on January 30 and February 6, 2024, the AAIP invited 22 and 44 candidates under the Dedicated Healthcare Pathway, respectively. On February 1, 2024, the province invited 80 candidates working in construction occupations. This year, Alberta invited 254 candidates through the AAIP streams. In the latest invitation round 210, Manitoba issued LAAs to 282 candidates

On February 8, 2024, Manitoba held the latest invitation round 210 in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). In the Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream, the MPNP invited 151 candidates under the Close relative in Manitoba selection with a minimum score of 619. In the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, MPNP issued 48 LAAs to candidates invited under the Strategic Recruitment Initiative.  The lowest score in the SWO category was 713 points. Finally, 83 invitations were issued in the International Education Stream. In this round, Manitoba has issued LAAs to 282 candidates, including 26 express-entry candidates. This year, MPNP invited 1,097 candidates, and 128 of them received invitations in the Express Entry. Additionally, 26 express-entry candidates were among the 282 individuals who received LAAs in this round. This inclusion of express-entry candidates shows Manitoba’s backing of federal immigration initiatives and commitment to attracting talent through various immigration pathways. Ontario invited 4,452 candidates in the Ontario Immigration Nominee Program draws

On February 8, 2024, the Government of Ontario invited candidates through three Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP) draws. The province issued 2,118 targeted notifications of interest (NOIs) to candidates with experience in Tech occupations under the Human Capital Priorities (HCP) Stream. The minimum scores for this draw were between 471 and 480 points.  OINP conducted two other draws under the Employer Job Offer: International Student stream and issued 1,188 invitations to apply (ITAs) in the General draw of the EJO IS stream and 1,152 ITAs to candidates with work experience in Tech and Healthcare occupations. The minimum scores for these draws were 78 points and 73 points, respectively. Invited Technology occupations Applicants received an NOI only if they had a CRS score of 471-480 and work experience in the Technology Occupations stated below: NOC 20012 – Computer and information system managers NOC 21211 – Data Scientists NOC 21220: Cybersecurity specialists NOC 21221: Business systems specialists. NOC 21222: Information systems specialists NOC 21223: Database analysts and administrators NOC 21230 – Computer System Developers and Programmers NOC 21231: Software Engineers and Designers NOC 21232 – Software Developers and Programmers NOC 21233 – Web Designer NOC 21234: Web developers and programmers. NOC 21311 serves computer engineers (except for software engineers and designers), while NOC 22220 is for computer network technicians. Ontario invited 2,086 healthcare professionals through the OINP-HCP Stream

On February 6, 2024, Ontario invited 2,086 healthcare professionals through the OINP-HCP Stream. It was the first invitation draw of the year under the Human Capital Priorities Stream. The OINP issued 2,086 targeted Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to healthcare professionals with work experience in 42 National Occupational Classification (NOC) codes.  Invited candidates’ comprehensive ranking system (CRS) Express Entry score was between 379 and 430 points. Last year, the province invited 17,502 candidates through fourteen Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream draws.  In 2024, Ontario issued 10,208 invitations under all streams of OINP. Through 14 HCP draws, Ontario invited 17, 502 candidates in total in 2023. The Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Federal Skilled Trades Program, and the Canadian Experience Class are the three federal economic immigration programs for which this stream is in line with the Express Entry system of the federal government. British Columbia invited up to 218 skilled candidates under the BC PNP

On February 6, 2024, the Government of British Columbia invited skilled candidates in the new invitation draws under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) and issued invitations to apply to qualified and skilled candidates with work experience in healthcare, childcare, construction, and veterinary care occupations.  In the general draw, the province invited 102 candidates. The minimum score for candidates invited to this draw was 97 points. BC issued 46 ITAs to candidates under the childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 42202).  In the Healthcare-targeted draw, British Columbia invited 39 candidates who scored 60 points. The province also issued 26 invitations to candidates working in the construction sector.  Furthermore, up to five invitations have been issued to candidates working in veterinary care occupations. In total, British Columbia issued up to 218 ITAs in this draw. This year, British Columbia has already invited up to 1,222 candidates. Targeted invitations to apply for Skills Immigration streams may be based on one or more of the following factors: Education – the level, field, and place where the education was completed. Eligible professional designations in British Columbia. Language skills. Occupation. The duration and level of work experience. Salary or skill level of job offer. They intend to live, work, and settle in a specific region. Strategic priorities are factors that address specific labor market needs in British Columbia or offer support for government pilot projects and initiatives.
