The Tech stream of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) is a fantastic method to attract more people to a vital industry and boost an important area of the economy.   British Columbia’s Tech program is currently the most simple option for tech employees to enter Canada, as compared to other PNPs and the Federal Government’s Global Talent Stream. BC PNP Tech works to make sure the province of British Columbia can continue to draw in and hold onto the talent required to support and expand the technology sector there.   Application Method The BC PNP Tech program enhances BC’s immigration programs for skilled workers. The BC Skilled Worker and BC International Graduate programs are the ones that fit the Tech program the best. A foreign national must confirm that they match the National Occupation Classification (NOC) code requirements for one of the 29 in-demand vocations before submitting an application to the BC PNP Tech program. If this condition is satisfied, the applicant may start the application procedure by creating a profile on BC PNP Online.   The applicant can then complete the application process for the BC Skills Immigration program for which they are qualified once their profile has been registered. Candidates for BC PNP Tech are given several benefits when they go through the provincial nomination process. First, for qualified Tech candidates, weekly application invitation rounds are sent out. Second, applications for the PNP will be processed more quickly for applicants. British Columbia issued new invitations under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) On October 4, 2022, and invited qualified Skills Immigration candidates. In the general draw, the province invited 184 candidates. The minimum score for candidates invited to this draw was 82-120 points. In addition, British Columbia invited 32 candidates under the childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 4214). In the Healthcare-targeted draw, BC invited 13 candidates. Additionally, fewer than five invitations have been issued for healthcare assistants (NOC 3413) and fewer than 5 ITAs for other priority occupations (NOCs 3114, 3213). In total, the province invited up to 239 candidates for this draw. In 2022, British Columbia has already issued 7,702 invitations.   What is British Columbia PNP?   The BC Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) is an economic immigration program administered by the Immigration Programs Branch of the Government of British Columbia.   The program allows the province to select and nominate foreign workers, international students, and entrepreneurs to help meet British Columbia’s labor market needs, support government priorities, and grow the province’s economy. Under Various Streams of the BCPNP British Columbia Invited up to 259 Candidates On August 30, 2022, British Columbia held new invitation rounds under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP).  In the BCPNP Tech, the province invited 207 candidates. The lowest score of the round was 95 points.  In the Childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 4214), the province invited 29 candidates.  In the Healthcare-targeted draw, BC invited 13 candidates. Additionally, BC invited 5 Healthcare assistants (NOC 3413) and fewer than 5 candidates under other targeted occupations (NOC 3114, 3213).  The lowest score in those draws was 60 points. In total, the province invited about 259 candidates. So far, British Columbia has already issued about 6,167 ITAs. The aim of the BC PNP International Graduate is to attract foreign students who have completed postgraduate or undergraduate education in British Columbia and would like to apply for a work permit and permanent residence in Canada. The BC PNP is offering a pathway to permanent residence for international graduates, skilled or semi-skilled workers, and their family members who want to settle in British Columbia. What is BC PNP BC PNP means British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program which is an economic immigration program that enables the province to directly select prospective immigrants to help address British Columbia’s labor market needs and contribute to the economic development of the province. Living in BC after Completing Graduation You can apply for a (PGWP) post-graduate work permit if you have recently completed your graduation from post-graduation school in BC. The Canadian working experience you gain while on this temporary work permit. It will be counted towards your application for permanent residence through the BC Provincial Nominee Program or the Canadian Experience Class. Or have you completed your graduation with a valid credential from an eligible Canadian university or college within the last three years? The job must be classified as Skill Level A or B under the (NOC) National Occupational Classification. Management occupations (grouped under Skill Type 0 in the NOC) are not eligible under this category. have completed a diploma, degree, or certificate from an eligible post-secondary institution in Canada in the past three years be qualified to work in your occupation in B.C. for NOC skill level B occupations, meet minimum language requirements have, or be eligible for, legal immigration status in Canada have a wage offer in line with B.C. wage rates for the occupation show you can support yourself and your dependents This means that you meet the eligibility criteria to apply. International Post Graduates Have you graduated and have a degree in science or engineering from an eligible B.C. institution?  The International Post Graduate category will help you gain permanent residence in British Columbia. Remember that you don’t need a job offer to apply.
