British Columbia invited new candidates under the new BC PNP draw. On January 24, 2023, the Government of British Columbia issued new invitations under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) and invited qualified Skills, and Immigration candidates. In the general draw, the province invited 221 candidates. The minimum score for candidates invited to this draw was 82-102 points.  The province issued 31 ITAs to candidates under the childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 42202).  In the Healthcare-targeted draw, BC invited 18 candidates who scored 60 points.  Additionally, fewer than 5 invitations have been issued for other priority occupations (NOCs 31103, 32104).  In total, the province invited up to 275 candidates for this draw. On December 13, 2022, British Columbia held new draws for business candidates in the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP). In the Base Category of the Entrepreneur Stream, BC PNP invited up to five candidates. The lowest score of this round was 116 points, 4 points fewer than the previous draw.    In addition, the province invited fewer than 5 candidates in the Entrepreneur Immigration – Regional Pilot category with a minimum score of 134. The maximum points in the Entrepreneur Stream grid are 200. 120 points candidates can get for self-declared factors such as Experience & Ownership, Net Worth, Investment, etc. Another 80 points are given for the business concept. In the Tech-targeted draw, BC issued 144 invitations with a minimum score of 95 points.    The province invited 32 candidates in the Childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 42202). A further 12 invitations were issued to skilled workers, international graduates, and entry-level and semi-skilled workers scoring at least 60 points in a draw targeting Healthcare workers. British Columbia invited 336 Skilled Immigration candidates after the NOC change

British Columbia invited the first Skilled Immigration candidates after the NOC change On November 28, 2022, the Government of British Columbia issued new invitations under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) and invited qualified Skills Immigration candidates. In the general draw, the province invited 253 candidates. The minimum score for candidates invited to this draw was 82-105 points. In addition, British Columbia invited 49 candidates under the childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 42202).    In the Healthcare-targeted draw, BC invited 24 candidates. Additionally, fewer than five invitations have been issued for healthcare assistants (NOC 33102) and fewer than five ITAs for other priority occupations (NOCs 31103, 32104). In total, the province invited up to 336 candidates for this draw. BC expanded the BC PNP Tech Immigration Stream

BC expanded the BC PNP Tech Immigration Stream The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) Tech immigration stream has expanded to include 35 occupations under the newly created National Occupational Classification (NOC).    Before the launch of NOC 2021 on November 16, only 29 targeted occupations were available under this program. BC PNP Tech is a program that helps those in the technology field speed up the immigration process to British Columbia.
