On December 19, 2023, BC issued new invitations in the Skilled Worker – International Graduate categories of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP). In the Tech-targeted draw, BC issued 107 invitations with a minimum score of 95 points.  In the Childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 42202), the province invited 62 candidates who scored 60 points.  In the Healthcare-targeted draw, the province issued 29 invitations.  Additionally, the province invited 32 candidates working in the construction sector.  The province invited 230 candidates with a score of 60-95 points. Including this draw, in 2023, British Columbia has already issued 10,150 invitations. As a candidate, you can work with an immigration specialist. On December 12, 2023, the Government of British Columbia held new invitation draws under BC PNP and issued invitations to apply to qualified candidates in healthcare, childcare, construction, and other priority occupations.  In the general draw, the province invited 73 candidates.  The minimum score for candidates invited to this draw was 95-116 points.  BC issued 61 ITAs to candidates under the childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 42202).  In the Healthcare-targeted draw, BC British Columbia invited 27 candidates who scored 60 points.  In addition, the province invited 27 candidates working in the construction sector. Furthermore, up to five invitations have been issued for other priority occupations (NOCs 31103, 32104).  In total, British Columbia issued up to 197 ITAs in this draw. This year, British Columbia has already invited 9,920 candidates. On December 5, 2023, BC invited business candidates to the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP). The BCPNP invited five candidates in the Base Category of the Entrepreneur Stream. The lowest score of this round was 116 points, the same as in the previous draw.  The maximum points in the Entrepreneur Stream grid are 200. Candidates can get 120 points for self-declared factors such as Experience and ownership, Net Worth, Investment, etc. Another 80 points are given for the business concept. British Columbia issued 9,723 invitations this year, including up to 89 ITAs for entrepreneurs. The minimum score for candidates invited to this draw was 94-116 points.  Furthermore, BC issued 49 ITAs to candidates under the childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 42202).  In the Healthcare-targeted draw, BC British Columbia invited 29 candidates who scored 60 points. In addition, the province invited 27 candidates working in the construction sector.  In total, British Columbia issued 185 ITAs in this draw. This year, British Columbia has already invited 9,525 candidates. Eligibility Requirements for Construction Workers The following requirements must be fulfilled by construction workers in order to receive targeted invitations to apply:  An employment offer for a full-time, indeterminate position in one of the top construction occupations is required. BC held new invitation draws and invited over 200 candidates

On October 31, 2023, the Government of British Columbia held new invitation draws under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) and issued invitations to apply to qualified Skills Immigration registrants.  Targeted ITAs have also been issued to qualified candidates in  healthcare,  childcare, and  other priority occupations.  In the general draw, the province invited 133 candidates. The minimum score for candidates invited to this draw was 91-113 points.  BC issued 48 ITAs to candidates under the childcare-targeted draw for early childhood educators (NOC 42202).  In the Healthcare-targeted draw, BC British Columbia invited 22 candidates who scored 60 points.  In addition, fewer than five invitations have been issued for other priority occupations (NOCs 31103, 32104).  In total, British Columbia issued up to 208 ITAs in this draw. This year, British Columbia has already invited 8,765 candidates. Invitations to apply for the Skills Immigration streams may be targeted based on one or more of the following criteria: Education – level, and field of education and where it was completed. Eligible professional designations in B.C. Language skills. Occupation. Duration and skill level of work experience. Wage and/or skill level of job offer. Intent to live, work, and settle in a specific region. Strategic priorities – factors that address specific labor. market needs in B.C. or support government pilot projects and initiatives. Requirements for the skilled workers in BC PNP To be eligible for this stream, you must: have accepted a full-time, indefinite job offer from a B.C. employer (the job offer cannot be temporary or have a set end date).  A skilled occupation (NOC TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3) is required. be qualified to perform the duties of the job. have two years of full-time (or full-time equivalent) experience in any skilled occupation (NOC TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3). Demonstrate your ability to support yourself and your dependents. have legal immigration status in Canada for NOC TEER 2 or 3 occupations, and meet minimum language requirements. have a wage offer that is in line with B.C. wage rates for the occupation.
